Harrogate Golf Club has a strong and growing junior section and is keen to welcome new juniors from around the Harrogate area. The Club prides itself in offering a range of junior competitions throughout the year, culminating in a junior dinner and prize giving in December.

The current rates for membership are:

8-11 £135*

12-18 £195*

*The above junior subscriptions include up to £90 worth of free coaching with our two resident class AA PGA Professionals, Sam and Gary, who have implemented and run the junior coaching programme for the last 7 years. The clubs aim is to not only gain junior members, but to fully develop them as golfers at whatever pace they are comfortable with. All funds from junior subscriptions go to developing the section, and funding golf for Harrogate golf clubs juniors."

Once involved, we offer the following for all our Junior members depending on how far they want to go in the game.

A full coaching programme aimed at all levels of juniors from beginners to elite golfers
Regular Sunday afternoon 5 hole competitions for the younger juniors (8-11yrs)
Regular Sunday 18 hole competitions for juniors obtaining a golf handicap
Inter-Club junior fixtures in a league format played against other clubs in the area throughout the summer
A junior away day held at a local club once a year

We also have a tiny Tigers coaching scheme which runs in the school holidays and is for children aged 5-8 years.
