Numerous events are held throughout the year. Mixed golf competitions are mostly held on Sundays and Bank Holidays and include fourballs, greensomes, foursomes, team events and texas scrambles. The emphasis is on social golf and integrating the various sections of the Club together. In addition the Club holds a formal intra Club competition at which all sections of the Club enter teams and smaller Rabbits vs Ladies etc competitions are held. Most of the major competitions are for much sought after 'silverware' and the section has it's own knockout and open events.

In addition to the 'formal' competitions the Captain holds informal social golf competitions that are open to all sections which provide for many enjoyable afternoon/evenings.
Partners are not mandatory as many 'single' golfers participate and many of the events consist of draws for partners. Golfers of all abilities participate and are encouraged to do so.
