MIXED NEWS & RESULTS

The Alf Atkinson was played under wet grey skies with light rain through out the afternoon. The 1st place team of Tom Murphy and Margaret Bleasdale did not let this bother their golf with a net score of 66.5 to lead the field by 7 shots. The remainder of the field was tightly bunched showing the grit of the players taking part in the first mixed event of the year.The 2's club was hit for 3 two's in the event. 1st by Mike Sullivan and Liz Pearson on the 19th hole, Martin Gobbi and Christine Calvert-Brown and Rick Barela partnered by Liz Haw on the 12th hole
